Repair works has been completed successfully, for the Vessel “Rek King” which has the following main particulars:
length overall: 143 m
breadth: 22 m
draught: 6 m
works were carried out at the floating dock 9000 tons’ capacity
Where sand blasting and hull painting, and Sea chests works removal and cleaning and their reinstallation
works were done in parallel with the alignment works of the Rudders and propeller shaft and changing the filler and lubrication as well.
The hull and internal holds steel were changed with a total of approximately 12 tons during 10 working days in parallel with
Cleaning tanks and waste in accordance with international environmental standards and finishing
as well as internal painting works and hull painting works.
It should be noted that all the works were carried out under the supervision of specialized engineers with previous experiences and by skilled workers and technicians in accordance with the requirements of the International quality standards and classification societies.
